Yes. Based on Article 9, Section 31 of the 2017 Revised Student’s Handbook of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), students may file a petition to offer a subject by completing a Petition and Agreement to Offer a Subject (PAOS) Form. This must be approved by authorized university officials and meet at least one of the following conditions:
* You are under a phased-out curriculum
* You are a graduating student
* The subject is not offered this semester
* You are an irregular student, repeater, or have subject deficiencies
Approval must go through the Department Head, College Dean, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and requires final approval from the University President.
Important Note:
If the subject is approved for petition, the faculty member who previously taught the subject is not allowed to teach it again. Instead, the College Dean and Department Head will assign another qualified faculty member, either regular or part-time, from the same or other EVSU campuses, with the approval of the University President.
