Based on Article 41, Sections 150 to 152 of the 2017 Revised University Students’ Handbook:
All EVSU students across campuses must secure a Student Clearance before doing certain academic or official transactions. The clearance confirms that you have no pending responsibilities, financial obligations, or property accountabilities with any university office.
You need a student clearance if you're:
* Graduating
* Transferring to another university or EVSU campus
* Shifting to a different course
* Applying for employment (local or abroad)
* Applying for graduation with honors
* Or doing other official purposes
However, you do NOT need a student clearance if you're requesting documents (like TOR, CAR, or Certificate of Good Moral) for licensure exams (PRC, CSC, CESB), student assistantship, scholarships, or government summer jobs (like DOLE programs). In these cases, you only need to pay the processing fees, and the University Registrar will note the reason for issuing your documents.
