Based on Chapter XV, Articles 60–61, Sections 211–213 of the EVSU 2017 Revised University Students’ Handbook, adopt the national Anti-Bullying Law (Republic Act No. 10627) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). EVSU applies this policy at all levels and campuses to make sure students feel safe and respected.

* Bullying is any severe or repeated verbal, written, electronic, or physical act by one or more students that:
*** Causes physical or emotional harm
*** Damages someone’s property
*** Creates a hostile learning environment
*** Violates a student’s rights
*** Disrupts university activities or operations

* Examples of bullying include:
*** Punching, pushing, shoving, slapping, or teasing
*** Harsh pranks, headlocks, or using objects as weapons
*** Verbal abuse, name-calling, or insulting someone's appearance
*** Posting mean or threatening content online (cyberbullying)
*** Spreading false accusations or rumors that cause emotional distress

* The following acts are strictly prohibited by EVSU’s Anti-Bullying Policy:
*** Bullying on campus or near school property
*** Bullying during university events (on or off campus)
*** Bullying on school buses or university vehicles (even if privately owned but accredited)
*** Cyberbullying using any technology—even outside campus
*** Retaliating against anyone who reports or helps investigate a bullying case

EVSU has a Committee on Anti-Bullying that investigates reported cases and enforces this policy. Students are strongly encouraged to report any form of bullying for proper action.
