Based on Chapter XVII, Article 64, Section 221 of the EVSU 2017 Revised University Students’ Handbook, EVSU campuses are officially declared Smoke-Free Environments under Executive Order No. 26 and Republic Act No. 9211 (Tobacco Regulation Act of 2003).

This means that:

* Smoking or using any tobacco products is strictly prohibited inside all EVSU campuses—whether indoors, outdoors, or in open spaces.

* The University promotes a healthy, clean, and safe environment for learning, working, and living. It aims to protect everyone from the dangers of secondhand smoke and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

⚠️ What happens if you’re caught smoking on campus?
* You will face counseling and may be subject to disciplinary administrative action based on university rules.

If you or someone you know needs help to quit smoking, EVSU encourages health-based support and awareness programs.
