Based on Article 10, Section 33 of the 2017 Revised Student’s Handbook of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), students are expected to attend all their classes regularly and on time. If you miss a class, you’re still responsible for any assignments or requirements given during your absence.
* If your absence is due to illness, you must submit an original medical certificate from your doctor stating the nature of your sickness.
* For other reasons, you need to provide a written excuse letter from your parent or guardian.
Note: While attendance is required, it does not directly affect your grades. It is only used for monitoring purposes.
CHED Rule: Students must attend at least 20% of the required number of hours for their course or program, in line with CHED regulations.
