Based on Article 14, Sections 44–45 of the 2017 Revised Student’s Handbook of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), students may transfer to EVSU under the following conditions:
Transfer Conditions:
1. You must have a weighted average grade of at least 2.5 if you’re an undergraduate, or 1.75 if you’re a graduate student.
2. You must meet the minimum residency requirement of the course you’re transferring into.
3. You must comply with the admission and entrance requirements of the college you want to transfer to.
Crediting of Units:
1. The College Dean, with the recommendation of the Academic Department Head, will determine which subjects can be credited toward your program.
2. All credited units must follow the 2017 Revised Student’s Handbook and related policies approved by the EVSU Board of Regents (BOR).
Important Note:
If you are a transferee and receive credited subjects from another school, you are not eligible for academic honors at EVSU (as outlined in Section 90, Article 24 and other related policies).
