GENERAL INFO:
While FHE (Free Higher Education) already covers tuition for most students, scholarships at EVSU still offer extra allowances, reimbursements, or recognition—depending on your qualifications.

Types of Scholarships at EVSU
1. Entrance Scholarship
Who qualifies?
• EVSU graduates with honors (Cum Laude or higher) pursuing graduate studies
• Valedictorians and salutatorians from any high school
What you get:
• Free tuition and other school charges
• Other possible assistance (see Sec. 62)

2. Academic Scholarship
Who qualifies?
• Students with a GWA between 1.0 to 1.45 in the previous semester
What you get:
• 100% free tuition and charges for the next semester
• Possible financial aid or allowances

3. Athletic Scholarship
Who qualifies?
• Student-athletes who pass tryouts and meet EVSU Sports Office standards
• Priority for winners of SCUAA, City/Provincial Meets, international competitions
• Athletes affiliated with Leyte Sports Academy or training providers with MOA with EVSU
What you get:
• Full tuition coverage, financial support, and training support

4. Culture and the Arts Scholarship
Who qualifies?
• Members of EVSU-recognized culture & arts groups (choir, dance company, pageants, etc.)
• Must be an active member for at least 3 months
• No grade below 3.0
What you get:
• 100% free tuition and charges
• Extra support for travel, costumes, or training (as available)

5. Institutional Scholarship
Who qualifies?
• Supreme Student Government (SSG) and SPO officers
• Must follow and submit requirements under their organization’s CBL (Constitution and By-laws)
What you get:
• 100% tuition-free
• Leadership recognition

6. Government and Private Sponsored Scholarships
Who qualifies?
• Students sponsored by external agencies, private foundations, or government programs
• Must have a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with EVSU
What you get:
• May vary depending on sponsor: tuition, allowance, gadgets, etc.
