Based on Section 62, EVSU may provide different types of financial assistance to help students who are active in academics, sports, cultural events, leadership, campus journalism, and research. The types of support you might receive include:
- Free or discounted board and lodging
- Help with OJT, internship, practice teaching, or other off-campus activities
- Insurance and health care coverage
- Monthly stipend for daily needs
- Relocation or training allowance
- Cash prizes for winning academic, athletic, or research competitions
- Other forms of assistance, as approved by the University
These benefits are not automatic—they depend on available funds and must be approved by the EVSU Board of Regents based on the recommendation of the University President and the Committee on Students’ Scholarship and Assistance Program (CSSAP), and must follow the rules set by RA 10931.
