Co-curricular activities, based on Article 47, Section 175 of the EVSU 2017 Revised University Students’ Handbook, allow students to form organizations like clubs, societies, fraternities, or sororities—but only if officially recognized by the university.

To be recognized, the group must apply through the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO) and be approved by the Committee on Students’ Organizations (CSO). The CSO includes the SASO Director (Chairperson), the Head of Student Affairs (Vice Chair), and the Federation of Student Governments President or their representative.

Once approved, the organization must strictly follow its registered Constitution and By-Laws, and align with university policies and the 2017 Revised University Code. Using EVSU’s name without official recognition is not allowed.
